«I viaggi di Gulliver» is Milo Manara's adventure comic, an adaptation of Jonathan Swift's classic, in paperback and in Italian.
The story follows Gulliver, a traveler who journeys through fantastic territories where proportions are altered: tiny beings and societies of giants force him to view civilization from another perspective. It is a social and political satire in the key of adventure, and this version by Manara reinterprets it in panels with the author's line.
Jonathan Swift's original work was published in 1726. This comic adaptation was published by Garzanti.
For readers of classics and comics who want to approach Swift's satire through Manara's drawing.
