«Ich bin Prager» is the novel by Tecia Werbowski published by Les Allusifs in 2003 in paperback (108 pages, in French).
A man feels his heart beating while a dog walks just behind him, close at his heels. He does not look at it directly, but he does not take his attention off its movements. The back cover reproduces this scene to set up an ambiguous relationship between the walker and the animal.
Translation from the Polish by Elisabeth Van Wilder; French edition published in Montreal.
