«Ich hab's allen gezeigt» is the autobiography of Stefan Effenberg and Jan Mendelin, published by Lübbe in paperback (329 pages, in German).
The German footballer reviews his career from childhood and his dream of turning professional through his spells at Mönchengladbach, Florence, Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg. He also recounts the dark side of the Bundesliga business, his difficult relationship with the tabloid press and the middle-finger incident that cost him his expulsion from the national team at the 1994 World Cup.
Subtitled «Autobiographie», it was published in 2003. The account is based on long interviews with journalist Jan Mendelin.
Recommended for football fans, particularly those who follow the Bundesliga and the sport's most controversial figures.
