«Il collezionista» is the suspense novel by James Patterson, published by TEA in paperback (384 pages, in Italian).
Detective and psychologist Alex Cross investigates two serial killers operating on both coasts of the United States: one dismembers his victims in Los Angeles and the other kidnaps college students in North Carolina. The clues suggest they collaborate or compete, and that one of them does not merely kill: he collects his victims.
It is the second installment of the Alex Cross series and was originally published as «Kiss the Girls» (1994). The cover indicates it inspired the movie with Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd.
Fans of police thrillers and followers of James Patterson and the Alex Cross series.
