«Intimités et autres nouvelles» is Chantal Pelletier's collection of short stories published by Editions Gallimard in paperback (113 pages, in French).
Four very dark stories in which the everyday lives of ordinary women crumble into nightmare. In one, Lieutenant Joëlle Fardat investigates the presumed suicide of a young flight attendant in a Bordeaux of bourgeois families, money and secrets, where silences and evasive glances prevail.
The edition is from the Folio imprint and was published on September 29, 2005.
For readers of French fiction who appreciate short stories with an unsettling atmosphere and female protagonists in extreme situations.
