After the death of her sister Sagrario, Natalia spends the summer in the old family house with her cousins Irlanda and Roberto, who want to tidy up the house to sell it. There, the shy young woman becomes caught up in a world of dried flowers, old dresses, magic spells, dreams and nightmares where nothing is what it seems and the distance separating her from her cousins becomes evident, especially from the sweet and enigmatic Irlanda.
The novel belongs to the «Escritoras de hoy» collection by Planeta Deagostini. It is Espido Freire's first published novel.
Recommended for readers of contemporary fiction in Spanish looking for a story with an unsettling atmosphere and magical realism, with female protagonists and an intimate tone.
