«Italia mia» is Vincenzo Cerami's poetry collection published by Promo Music in hardcover, with a DVD (123 pages, in Italian).
A work in verse that engages in a dialogue with Italy personified as a young woman: he met her in the boom years, found her again in the years of lead, and now seeks her in the second republic, with a festive, acidic and also melancholic tone. The text revives the tradition of Italian patriotic poetry.
Published in 2010, the book includes a DVD with music by Nicola Piovani and the singing voice of Federica Vincenti.
An edition for lovers of Italian poetry and of proposals that combine literature and music.
Vincenzo Cerami was an Italian screenwriter, novelist and poet.
