«Ja en tinc trenta!» is a play by Jordi Silva, published by Editorial Empúries in paperback (192 pages, in Catalan).
Andreu has just turned thirty; he wouldn't mind if those around him didn't keep reminding him that it's time to take life seriously. With humor, Jordi Silva portrays a generation raised in the 1980s who, upon reaching that age, discover the bitter aftertaste of existential hangover and the difficulty of growing up.
The work won the Fundació Romea Prize 2004, was directed by Àngel Llàcer, and ran for three months at the Teatre Condal. It belongs to the Empúries Narrativa collection (no. 248).
A work with generational echoes for those who grew up in the eighties and face maturity.
