Jan Plata, a young pirate who has lived much in a short time, feels life slipping away like sand between his fingers as a cruel and inevitable end approaches. Yet the friends he has made, the family he has recovered, and the love he has known make it all worthwhile. Death, or whatever awaits him, will find him smiling and armed for a fight to the finish.
Sixth installment in the Jan Plata series, in the Narrativa Singular collection (number 101). Illustrated by Jordi Lafebre. For readers ages 8 to 18.
Recommended for young readers seeking a pirate adventure with an epic conclusion and emotional tone.
