«Je serai trois milliards d'enfants» is the illustrated album by Alain Serres, published by Rue du Monde in hardcover (91 pages, in French).
The album brings together photographs and paintings to show stories of children like Naïma, Joachim or Nemo, who lack water, education or freedom despite the 1989 Convention on the Rights of the Child. Alain Serres, with some twenty photographers and illustrations by Judith Gueyfier, creates a tribute to childhood and denounces the vulnerability of children's rights.
The work was published in 2009 and bears the subtitle «Un événement artistique autour de l'enfance».
A work for child and young adult readers, in which the illustrated album combines art and social awareness about childhood.
