«Jesus' Story of the Kind Enemy» is the religious children's book by Lois Rock published by Lion Children's Books in paperback (32 pages, in English).
It tells the parable Jesus told about the Good Samaritan: a man is attacked and wounded by the roadside, and only a Samaritan, considered an enemy, stops to help him. An invitation to understand that compassion and helping one's neighbor are above differences.
It belongs to the «Treasure Chest» series, of twelve books with stories of Jesus designed for reading aloud; the last page includes a simple prayer. The illustrations are by Roger Langton.
Aimed at a young audience beginning to learn about the stories of Jesus, at home or in religious education classes.
English author of Christian literature, also writing under the pseudonym Mary Joslin (born 1953)
