«Jesus von Nazaret» is the theological essay by Dorothee Sölle and Luise Schottroff, published by Dtv in paperback (159 pages, in German).
Sölle and Schottroff, German theologians, trace a portrait of Jesus of Nazareth through the faith testimonies of early Christianity, not as a conventional biography. The work confronts Christian anti-Judaism and champions the role of women and marginalized people from a feminist and liberating perspective.
The book corresponds to the 8th edition of the Dtv portrait series, published in 2000.
A book for readers interested in theology, biblical studies, and the figure of Jesus from a critical and feminist perspective.
