«Joan Hernández Pijuan, homenatge» is the tribute book with texts by the painter, published by the Universitat de Barcelona (paperback, 2008).
The book gathers a selection of Joan Hernández Pijuan's own writings: journalistic articles and essayistic texts, almost always born from reflection on his work. Although he was reluctant about the literary offshoots of painting, he always wrote; these pages reveal his side as an occasional writer.
Written in Catalan and Spanish; includes contributions by Teresa Blanch, Lino Cabezas, Martí Perán and Pilar Vélez.
For those interested in twentieth-century Catalan art, in Joan Hernández Pijuan and in the relationship between painting and writing.
