«Jorge y el pequeño caballero» is the illustrated children's story by Ronda Armitage, published by Blume in 2009 in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).
The little knight prefers playing ball with his friends to fighting dragons, but since that's what brave knights do, he reluctantly sets off on his adventure. Along the way he sees the havoc a dragon can cause. When he finally comes face to face with one, the story turns toward an unexpected friendship.
«Jorge y el pequeño caballero» was originally published in English as «Small Knight and George» and features illustrations by Arthur Robins.
The story is aimed at early readers, with a tale of knights and dragons that also appeals to adults.
Ronda Armitage is a children's writer, teacher and counsellor. She lives in England.
