Josafat is the best known narration of Prudenci Bertrana, published in 1906. The story tells the sacrilegious love between the bell ringer of Santa Maria and Fineta, a story that has generated controversy and fascination throughout generations. This edition, by Xavier Pla, retakes the original text and offers a normalized version with modern philological criteria, respecting the author's intention.
