«Joséphine et les gitans et autres nouvelles» is Vincent Ravalec's collection of short stories, published by J'ai Lu in paperback (91 pages in French).
Joséphine, an executive at a major record label, arrives in the Camargue to sign a group of Gypsy artists, and the cultural clash becomes explosive. The volume also brings together other stories set in the art world: a filmmaker who improvises without a script, a violinist with an injured wrist, and a peculiar escort company for ladies.
1998 edition in French, complete text, in the Librio collection (number 242).
