Julien Van Wezemaele, a middle-aged loner, works in the morgue of Stuivenberg Hospital in Seefhoek, Antwerp. His routine of newspapers, letters to the editor, and eavesdropping on café conversations is shattered when he finds a condom with diamonds on a corpse; the discovery drags him into a spiral of crime and mystery.
It is Peter Thiessen's second novel, after «Margot», his 2019 literary debut; the author is also a screenwriter and documentary filmmaker.
For readers of thrillers and crime fiction with solitary protagonists and urban crime plots.
