«Junie B. Jones de vacaciones» is the children's humor novel by Barbara Park, published by Editorial Bruño in hardcover (96 pages, in Spanish).
Junie B. travels to Hawaii with her family and her teacher assigns her a photographic report of the vacation. Between the grumpy ladies on the plane, a mishap with the float and a tropical bird that makes a nest on her head, getting a decent photo seems almost impossible.
Book number 25 in the Junie B. Jones series. The English original, «Junie B., First Grader: Aloha-ha-ha!», was published in 2006.
Recommended for children from 6 years old, especially for those starting to read alone and looking for humor and everyday adventures.
Barbara Lynne Park was an American author of children's books. She is most well known for writing the Junie B. Jones series of chapter books. She has also written several middle grade and young adult books, including Skinnybones (1982), Mick Harte Was Here (1995), and The Graduation of Jake Moon (2000). Park's works frequently visit themes of familial relationships and children's experiences in school, and she based characters on her children and her own childhood memories. Park did not allow adaptations of her works except for stage plays.
