«Just Going to the Dentist» is the children's book by Mercer Mayer, published by Random House Books for Young Readers in paperback, 24 pages, in English.
Little Critter goes to the dentist and the story humorously shows what happens at a visit: waiting, sitting in the chair, opening the mouth for the check-up, and listening to advice on dental care. The watercolor illustrations, with a rabbit dentist, make the scene recognizable.
It belongs to the Little Critter series, within the Look-Look line. The English edition was published in 2001.
The book is aimed at children aged 3 to 7 and helps normalize the visit to the dentist.
Mercer Mayer is an American children's author and illustrator. He has published over 300 books, using a wide range of illustrative styles. Mayer is best known for his Little Critter and Little Monster series of books.
