«Kasandra leihoan» is the novel by Fito Rodriguez Bornaetxea, published by Txalaparta, S.L. in paperback (204 pages, in Basque).
Kasandra and Ihardets travel from Paris to Islamabad. When the plane makes an unexpected stopover in Rome, they start recounting movies to calm their nerves. They combine plots from classic and obscure cinema with everyday problems —happiness, loneliness, death, coexistence— and seek answers to their concerns in the seventh art.
It belongs to the Amaiur collection and is the first edition, published on May 16, 2006. ISBN-13: 978-84-8136-458-3.
It will appeal to readers of Basque and to those who enjoy narratives where cinema serves to discuss happiness, loneliness, and coexistence.
