«Kid Paddle, Volume 6: Rodéo Blork» is the sixth humor album by Midam, published by Dupuis in comic format (48 pages, in French).
The album brings together comic strips of Kid Paddle, a boy obsessed with video games, and his friends Big Bang and Horace, amid gaming sessions, outlandish inventions and pranks on his sister. The fictional blork —a slimy, belligerent monster from the arcades— gives its title to an adventure of absurd humor and nods to video-game culture.
Volume 6 of the Kid Paddle series, a humor comic series created by Midam; the original French edition was published in 2000.
Recommended for children and young adults and for readers seeking European comic humor.
Michel Ledent, known by the pseudonym Midam, is a Belgian comics author, best known for Kid Paddle.
