Koaderno Handia es una novela de la escritora húngara Agota Kristof, publicada en 1986. La historia sigue a dos hermanos gemelos que son enviados a vivir con su cruel abuela durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. A través de una serie de ejercicios de escritura, los gemelos intentan registrar objetivamente el mundo que les rodea, desarrollando una visión del mundo fría y despiadada. La novela explora temas como la supervivencia, la moralidad y la pérdida de la inocencia en tiempos de guerra.

Ágota Kristóf was a Hungarian writer who lived in Switzerland and wrote in French. Kristóf received the "European prize" from ADELF, the association of Francophone authors, for Le Grand Cahier. It was followed by two sequels which are collectively The Notebook Trilogy. She won the 2001 Gottfried Keller Award in Switzerland and the Austrian State Prize for European Literature in 2008.
