«Krakow Jana Pawla II» is Adam Bujak's photography album, published by Bialy Kruk in hardcover, in a trilingual Polish-English-German edition (128 pages).
Adam Bujak's photographs explore the corners of Krakow that were part of John Paul II's life: churches, streets and urban settings linked to his story, including Wawel Cathedral. The volume also gathers the pontiff's words about his bond with the city, which he considered a synthesis of the Polish and the Christian.
Published in 2018. The introductory text is by Cardinal Franciszek Macharski.
For those interested in the figure of John Paul II, art photography and the religious heritage of Krakow.
