In 1962, Badra, a seventeen-year-old Moroccan girl, flees a forced marriage to a much older notary and settles in Tangier. There she discovers sensual love with Driss, a young cardiologist. The story, presented as the first erotic memoirs of an Arab woman, narrates the sexual liberation of its protagonist.
The Spanish translation is by Rosa Alapont Calderaro and the original title of the work is «L'Amande».
For readers of erotic fiction and contemporary narrative interested in female sexual liberation in the Arab world.
