Synopsis of La bruja y el capitán
En la Italia del siglo XVII, una sirvienta llamada Caterina Medici es condenada a la hoguera por la Santa Inquisición. Los motivos son que el dueño de la casa donde servía Caterina sufre dolores de estómago y que un anterior patrón estaba enamorado de ella. Leonardo Sciascia utiliza esta anécdota para reflexionar sobre la justicia y contar las desventuras de Caterina, una 'bruja confesa'.
