«La butxaca prodigiosa» is the children's novel by Mercè Canela, published by Cruïlla in paperback (64 pages, in Catalan).
Mr. Serafí runs a very unusual shop: everything he sells comes out of a pocket of his dressing gown, he only opens in cases of urgency and he does not charge money. He is kind and much loved, until he suddenly changes and only wants to make money. The story invites readers to discover what has happened and whether that bad-tempered shopkeeper is really Mr. Serafí.
It belongs to the El Vaixell de Vapor collection (number 141) and features illustrations by Jordi Sales Roqueta.
Recommended for readers aged 7 to 9, especially those who enjoy stories of imagination and mystery.
