«La célèbre Marilyn» is a children's story by Olivier de Solminihac, published by L'école des loisirs in paperback (70 pages, in French).
Marilyn goes unnoticed by everyone: at school no one comes to talk to her and sometimes her parents forget to pick her up. A classmate sees her and says «Tú existes para mí», but she feels it is not enough. Convinced that only fame will make her visible, she decides to set a plan in motion with an autograph book and a pen.
The book belongs to the Maximax collection from L'école des loisirs.
The story, intended for early readers, is in French; its short length makes it suitable as initial reading in that language.
