«La chica que dejaste atrás» is the romantic novel by Jojo Moyes, published by SUMA in paperback (528 pages, in Spanish).
Two plots separated by a century share a portrait: in 1916, Sophie Lefèvre, married to the painter Édouard, suffers the German occupation and a commander's obsession with the painting; a century later, Liv Halston keeps that same work as a memento of her deceased husband, until its true value comes to light and unleashes a battle over its history.
Translation by Ana Momplet Chico. Spanish edition published on March 16, 2017; original title: The Girl You Left Behind.
