«La Cira» is the children's novel by Josep Gòrriz, published by Barcanova in paperback (104 pages, in Catalan).
La Cira is a girl who doesn't like chard, though she adores jungle treasures and dreams of being a wild animal tamer. To practice, she asks for a lion, and one night she can't sleep because she's about to lose a tooth and she sees a ghost. She also decides to make dinner all by herself so her mother doesn't have to.
It belongs to the Sopa de Llibres collection, Groga series, with illustrations by Montse Español.
Reading aimed at children aged 6 to 8, suitable for early readers in Catalan.
