«La Ciudad» is an illustrated children's book by Carol Watson, published by Ediciones y Publicaciones Lagos S.A. in paperback (24 pages, in Spanish).
The brightly colored illustrations show streets, buildings and activities inside and outside the home to introduce the vocabulary of urban life. A family travels to the city; everyday objects are named and some words are repeated in short stories so that children can recognize them and take their first steps in reading.
It is part of the series «La Imagen y la Palabra» and is a Spanish translation of «The Town».
Suitable for young children beginning to read and for shared reading in the family.
