«La ciudad poco después» is the science fiction novel by Pat Murphy, published by Edaf in paperback (315 pages, in Spanish).
After an epidemic that left one in a thousand people alive, San Francisco has become an almost ghostly city, with few survivors wandering among empty buildings while the city seems to regain life. That fragile recovery is endangered when an armed group tries to take control and the inhabitants must defend their home.
Volume 8 of the Ícaro Science Fiction collection; it was originally published in English as The City, Not Long After.
For readers of post-apocalyptic and dystopian science fiction who appreciate urban, fantastical atmospheres and a tone more literary than warlike.
