«La Cucanya. El Gran Repte» is a work of fiction by René Depestre, published by Bukante in paperback (175 pages, in Catalan).
The plot revolves around the relationship between the individual and the collective: the characters face trials that question their identity and their way of understanding the world. The work invites reflection on overcoming as a process linked to one's environment, without abandoning the introspective tone of fiction.
The Catalan edition includes the translation by Mireia Porta i Arnau. It was published in 2004 and belongs to the category of Literature and Fiction.
