«La deriva dels continents» is a novel by Gerard Guix, published by Angle Editorial in paperback (176 pages, in Catalan).
The novel opens with the final chapter: three children, Òscar, Tete and Martí, change the lives of several anonymous characters. Gerard Guix builds an urban fable with a cinematic air, governed by chance and the absurd, and links stories such as that of a woman falling down a staircase or a musician in crisis; the tension is maintained until the end.
«La deriva dels continents» is volume 27 of the Narratives collection from Angle Editorial; the first edition was published on June 1, 2005.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in ensemble stories and a narrative style close to film.
