Herra, a chain-smoking eighty-year-old, lives alone in a garage in Reykjavík and connects to the world via the internet. Facing another solitary Christmas, she plans her cremation: as the oven reaches a thousand degrees, she takes stock and prepares her final revenges.
This Catalan edition appeared in 2013 in the «El Balancí» collection; the Icelandic original, «Konan við 1000°», was published in 2011.
