«La dona efervescent» is the contemporary novel by Mar Bosch Oliveras, published by Univers Llibres in paperback (192 pages, in Catalan).
Eva, mother of twins, reviews the turn her life has taken since she met Miquel: an absent partner, a neurotic mother-in-law, and a motherhood very different from what she had been told. She feels like an effervescent aspirin dissolving in a glass of water. With black humor and surrealism, it reflects different forms of motherhood and Eva's struggle to find herself again.
It is part of the Univers collection, number 30. The first edition was published on May 14, 2020.
With its acid and demystifying gaze, it may appeal to adult readers looking for contemporary fiction about motherhood.
