«La esposa» is the humor book by Jason Hazeley and Joel Morris, published by Debolsillo in hardcover (64 pages, in Spanish).
This volume of black humor parodies old school textbooks with simple texts and oil illustrations: it portrays the wife as an unfathomable figure, who eats chocolate to cheer herself up, adores wine, loves surprise parties and always believes she is right, even when she is wrong.
The book is part of the «Pequeños Clásicos Ilustrados» collection, the Spanish version of the «Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups» series; translation by Rita da Costa, original English from 2015.
A book intended for adults bewildered by modernity and for those seeking an ironic humor gift.
