«La faraona barbuda» is the children's humor book by Enric Lluch, published by Bruño in paperback (152 pages, in Spanish).
Museum workers find a perfumed mummy with a false beard in the storeroom. The mummy turns out to be that of Pharaoh Temoses-tadoes-perando-veinte-años, daughter of Pharaoh Nari-zotas, and the story plays with the mystery of why a female pharaoh wore a beard.
The work is part of the Altamar collection, within the Faraones series; there is a Reading Game (No. 160) from the Lectura Eficaz collection associated with this book.
Recommended for readers aged 10 and up and for use as school reading in primary education, with a humorous plot set in ancient Egypt.
