«La fête de l'école» is the children's novel by Magdalena, published by Flammarion Jeunesse in paperback (32 pages, in French).
Tomorrow is the school party and the whole class is getting ready for the show. Teacher Julie encourages the children to organize it in one day, and together they rehearse and decorate the stage: a cardboard castle with a dancing clown and some children hiding. The volume belongs to level 3 of the collection, with a slightly longer text and more complex notions explained simply, always close to children's daily lives.
It is part of the «Je suis en CP» collection as volume 6. It includes a small illustrated dictionary and a review of key concepts on the flaps. 2012 edition, paperback, with illustrations by Emmanuel Ristord.
Designed for children starting to read in French, around age 6, in the first year of primary school (CP).
Magdalena is the original version of the given name Magdalene and is used in West Slavic, Hungarian, German, Lithuanian, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Spanish, Georgian, and other languages.
