«La fiancée du fantôme» is the children's novel by Malika Ferdjoukh, published by Animax-l'École des loisirs in paperback (71 pages, in French).
Horace, aged nine, moves from London to an old Scottish house called Forest Lodge. There he hears inexplicable noises and an icy breath that wakes him at night. Aimed at children who already read alone, with a mystery and ghost story starring a nine-year-old boy.
