In 'La fiesta prometida', Jennifer Clement invites us on a journey through her life, from her childhood in the vibrant Mexico City of the sixties, surrounded by artists and intellectuals, to her youth in the New York counterculture of the eighties, where she rubbed shoulders with figures such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring. This literary memoir is a portrait of two dangerous and important cities, as well as the artists who worked in them and despite them. The author of 'La viuda Basquiat' offers us an intimate and fascinating look at her world, full of magic, fame and ghosts.

Jennifer Clement is an American-Mexican author.
