Children's adaptation of the libretto by Emanuel Schikaneder that Mozart turned into a two-act opera. It tells a double love story with the symbolism of the search for knowledge, with Prince Tamino and Papageno suffering deceptions and trials; Joma's illustrations recreate the golden flute, the forest and characters such as Sarastro and Monostatos.
First volume of the Opera Prima collection. Published in 2000. Includes a CD with the opera's music.
For children and young people aged 7 and up approaching opera for the first time, with an illustrated and narrated version of Mozart.
