«La gota de lluvia» is the children's story by Alfredo Gómez Cerdá, published by Bruño in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
A story about a raindrop that slips into a child's day: the rain disrupts his play plans, but at the same time waters the fields and restores color to the landscape. The tale shows how what seems like a setback can be essential for nature to stay alive.
It belongs to the Altamar collection (no. 65), with illustrations by Víctor Moreno, and appears on the Honor List of the 1994 CCEI Award.
Suitable for children starting to read; the final section includes reading comprehension exercises.
