«La habitación cerrada» is the crime novel by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö, published by Noguer in paperback (262 pages, in Spanish).
The investigation of an apparently impossible robbery leads detective Martin Beck, of the Stockholm homicide squad, to a case that mixes chance, intelligence and human errors. The novel combines the classic locked-room mystery with a critical look at Swedish society in the seventies.
Eighth installment in the Martin Beck series; translation by Enrique de Obregón; belongs to Noguer's Esfinge Collection (no. 35).
For readers of classic crime and detective fiction, especially those following the Martin Beck series in Spanish.
