«La herencia del Santo Grial. La historia secreta de los hijos de Jesús» is Laurence Gardner's essay, published in hardcover by Grijalbo Mondadori.
«La herencia del Santo Grial» starts from the question of whether Jesus could have married and had children, and traces his supposed heirs. Laurence Gardner combines documents from European monarchies, the Bible and Arthurian legends, giving a central role to Joseph of Arimathea and Mary Magdalene in that Messianic line of succession.
The original English edition was published in 1996 under the title 'Bloodline of the Holy Grail: The Hidden Lineage of Jesus Revealed'.
Aimed at readers interested in heterodox theories about the Holy Grail, spirituality and the history of the West.
Laurence Gardner was a British author and lecturer. He wrote on various topics including historical-religious speculation such as the Jesus bloodline.
