Synopsis of La iaia no hi toca

«La iaia no hi toca» is a children's book by José Ignacio Valenzuela, published by BiraBiro Editorial in paperback (150 pages, in Catalan).

A boy spends his afternoons at his grandmother Petunia's house while his parents work. She is eccentric: Darth Vader-style hairdo, poems and verses recited at full volume at the bus stop. The boy believes his grandmother is to blame for his tastes and quirks, and suspects she is up to something. A fun story about the relationship between grandson and grandmother.

With illustrations by Patricio Betteo and translation by Cristina Vallès. Third edition published on September 17, 2018.
