«La isla de Circe» is the children's adventure novel by Simone Frasca and Sara Marconi (Ediciones del Laberinto, paperback, 96 pages, in Spanish).
Six children discover they descend from figures of Greek mythology and have inherited their powers; they attend the school of the sorceress Circe on the Isle of Eos. They find the classes strange, the palace hides secrets, and the rooms change places. The sorceress introduces them to their guide animals, but they are not what they expected.
First volume in the series Los Seis Míticos, published on April 19, 2018. Translation by Ana Belén Valverde Elices.
Recommended for child readers aged 7 to 9, especially if they enjoy adventures, Greek mythology and magic.
