«La leyenda de Sira y Ondú» is a children's adventure and fantasy book by Joaquín Aguirre Bellver, published by Edelvives in paperback (75 pages).
Sira and Ondú, two children who always play together, set out one morning for the beach and meet a woman who sings and dances. The woman asks them where they are going. Everyday reality opens up to fantasy: although they do not leave their home, Sira and Ondú travel far away in their imagination.
Originally published in February 1991; Joaquín Aguirre Bellver, also an editor, journalist and painter, earned one of the first Lazarillo Literature Prizes.
Aimed at a children's and young adult audience that enjoys adventure and fantasy stories.
