«La lista de cumpleaños» is a children's story by Anna Manso Munné, published by EDICIONES SM in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
A girl who each year writes down the gifts she would like to receive faces an unexpected challenge: her parents ask that her list contain only things that cannot be kept. Far from discouraging her, the challenge sparks her inventiveness and she ends up discovering that the best surprises are imagined, not bought.
It belongs to the El Barco de Vapor Azul collection, number 159, with illustrations by Gabriel Salvadó and a recommended reading age of 7 to 8 years.
Suitable for boys and girls aged 7 to 8, also as school reading, it invites reflection on creativity, family and consumption.
