«La llanura» is the novel by Manuel Andújar that opens the series «Vísperas», published by Alianza Editorial in paperback (228 pages, in Spanish).
Manuel Andújar began his literary career during exile, after the Spanish Civil War: unlike other authors who continued a body of work started before the conflict, Andújar began writing and publishing his narrative only in exile. La llanura is one of the works from that beginning.
As volume I of the series «Vísperas», this edition belonged to the Libro de Bolsillo collection of Alianza Editorial (number 596, literature section).
For readers interested in contemporary Spanish fiction and in literature arising from exile after the Civil War.
Manuel Andújar Muñoz was a Spanish novelist, playwright, poet and essayist.
