«La luz en la memoria» is the poetry collection by Pepe Viyuela, published by Amargord in paperback (98 pages, in Spanish).
The work brings together poems in which memory acts as a common thread: nostalgia for origins, returns to the past and the light that memories cast on what has been lived. The reflective tone invites consideration of how time transforms and sometimes buries what finds no place in recollection. The back cover previews verses about light dissolving in the fingers, hidden springs and the oblivion that navigates everything.
The book belongs to the collection «Helado de Mamey», number 30, and was published in 2009 by Ediciones Amargord.
Recommended for readers of contemporary poetry in Spanish interested in introspection and in the work of the author, also known for his theatrical and humorous side.
